Our Mission
It is the mission of the Indian Beach Fire Department to provide fire protection, emergency medical services, and community risk reduction to the citizens and taxpayers of the greater Indian Beach area.
About Our Fire Department
The Indian Beach - Salter Path Fire Department provides service to the district of Indian Beach and Salter Path. We have a full time staff of 13 members, 10 part time staff and numerous volunteers. We operate 3 shifts on a rotating schedule to cover our district 24/7/365. Our department is a full service emergency organization, providing firefighting, rescue, and emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of the Town of Indian Beach and the community of Salter Path.

Indian Beach Fire Department Leadership
Deputy Fire Chief Jackson
Deputy Chief Jackson has been involved in the fire service since 2010 where he started as a volunteer with the Richlands Volunteer Fire Department. He started his paid fire service career with the Town of Indian Beach in 2015 as a Firefighter/EMT, in 2017 he was promoted to Captain and served in that capacity until promoting to Deputy Fire Chief in 2020. Chief Jackson brings an array of fire, technical rescue, and EMS education and serves the department through multiple duties. Including ocean rescue, part time employees, and equipment ordering and inventory.
